Meet Obie, a 15-year-old Standardbred with a lovely disposition and a heart of gold. Once he retired from racing, he enjoyed trail rides and even dabbled in gymkhana, always showing a calm and willing attitude. While he’s a very sweet horse, he does require blinders for riding and will need some desensitization to help him feel more comfortable without them. He’s a gentle soul who thrives on positive interactions and is ready to continue his journey with the right person who can help him reach his full potential. Further evaluation is ongoing to ensure he gets the best care and training moving forward He is UTD and is good for the vet and farrier.
