Punne de Lux – aka Mama – is a lovely 22 years-young Standardbred mare. A smidge over 15 hands, she is up to date on her vaccinations, coggins, and teeth and is a dream for the farrier and vet. She raced for a spell, then was a broodmare. She’s been ‘taken from’ for much of her life and thrives when being given to.
In her current foster home, she’s become quite a celebrity, drawing people (young and old) to spend time with her and shower her with love. She has softened so much, and you should see her coat shine. She would benefit from a home that can offer an in-and-out situation, along with some space to play. She is very cute when she plays.
The farrier always comments on how great her feet are (she’s currently barefoot) and is an extremely easy keeper. At 22, her topline and overall shape suggest she has many great years ahead of her. We were told she had been lightly ridden after her broodmare years, but our trainer has not been on her.
