Spanky is a sweet 9.2hh 18 year old chestnut and white gelding has been a valued member of our rescue for several years, serving as our mascot and ambassador. Spanky was once shown in hand and driven, but would need to be restarted. He is also very friendly with great ground manners, and good with kids even when being groomed.
He has Cushing’s and requires daily medication, as well as a soaked diet due to dental issues. He’s also in the early stages of EORTH, so gentle management and regular care will help keep him comfortable.
He’s an easygoing, friendly little guy who enjoys attention and a calm routine. We’re looking for a special home where he can continue to be loved and well cared for through his golden years.
