When sound, Sherry is strong but well behaved, would do best with shoes. Strong confident advanced beginner or intermediate rider. Needs ground handling work. An older girl that deserves a truly forever home.
Sherry came to NEER a number of years ago and spent 2 of those years as a beloved trail companion and friend. She has received the glowing review: “Sherry has more pep on the trails than horses half her age.” Sherry has gone out on many trail rides alone (and at times can be a little strong so best to be done with an intermediate rider). With a companion along, she is good for beginner-intermediate. Great for vet, farrier, etc.
Sherry is insulin resistant so should be off grass and on low-carb diet. She recently was diagnosed with laminitis and rotation, X-rays have her veterinarian optimistic that she will continue to be pleasure sound with corrective front shoes. Records and films available.
The last photo in the gallery below is of Sherry as a youngster. Registered name “Crossroads Sherry”, out of Crossroads John Morgan and Crossroads Lady Rosina.
