Lightning is a very sweet but also a bit feisty 10 year old Shetland-type Pony. He has been living in a herd with two mini horses, a mini donkey and a Quarter Horse named
Buster. He is a bit nervous with new people at first but comes around quickly once he gets to know you. He likes walking around the property but can get a bit anxious with new things (like sheep, loud noises, machinery, new people). He is working on this.
He is not a fan of the farrier, he needs to have somebody who knows how to handle a fresh pony but nothing an adult cannot handle. We have not yet evaluated him with children but will post an update when we do. He’d make a good companion, as he’s had experience living in a herd.
