CURRENT STATUS: UNDER EVALUATION
Churchill just arrived at NEER North. We opened our doors to him when the rescue that had previously placed him in foster, would not take him back.
Churchill will be examined by NEER’s vet and will be given his needed missing Coggins report. All states require a negative Coggins test before a horse, mule or donkey can be transported across the state line. Our staff and volunteers are looking forward to giving Churchill lots of attention and affection until he finds his forever home.
Churchill is under evaluation, he is a 12 year old standard donkey. He is smart, sweet and is very interested in humans although a bit shy sometimes. He gets along with other donkeys his size, mules, and horses.
Please note potential adopters with pre-approved applications on file will get priority on new horses – we strongly recommend you fill out an application to get pre-approved.
