Becky is a 24 yr old Haflinger mare who came to our rescue with another mare and was later adopted into a therapy program. She worked there successfully for several years and was very loved. After she was retired, she was returned to us due to some arthritis and no longer enjoying the program work. Becky does have Cushings and requires daily medication and cannot be on grass.
Becky is a really good girl once she gets to know you, though she can be a bit opinionated at times-very much a typical mare. She would make a great companion. She does have some chronic soundness issues but is currently doing well. Becky is barefoot and UTD on vaccines. Becky has lived with both mares and geldings.
