Summer is a gorgeous 20-year-old, 14.1 hh Palomino mare. She’s very people-oriented and really seems to connect on a deeper level. She may excel at groundwork or liberty training—she’s willing, smart, and very in tune with whoever is working with her. She might also be a great fit for an unmounted therapeutic setting; she’s the type who reflects people’s emotions and tends to draw a lot out of them just by being present.
She can be ridden, but needs a rider with some experience. She’s great at the walk and on the lead line, but she is gaited and has a little get-up-and-go when she wants to! She really enjoys bareback rides and being around people.
She’s great for grooming and bathing, though a bit stiff with her hind legs, so she’ll need someone experienced and patient. Loads like a dream.
She is insulin resistant and has had some laminitis in the past, so no grass or sugary treats for this girl.
She’s a beautiful, sensitive pony who really bonds with her person and loves attention—just looking for the right home where she can continue to thrive.
