Amy is a 16yo OTTB mare. She very sweet and has excellent ground manners. And she loves bananas! Amy is serviceably sound and seems to enjoy having a light riding job. Amy goes WT undersaddle, English, in the arena. She lunges nicely, including WT with tack. (She doesn’t like it when the longlines touch her back legs though.) She has been level headed and has not offered any spook undersaddle. She has not been tested on the trails yet, but I think she would enjoy some low key trail rides with a buddy. Amy would make an excellent companion – she great with other mares, but has not been tried with geldings.
Amy requires front shoes, due to her having a mild rotation in her coffin bone in her left front leg. She does have an old racing injury in that fetlock as well, causing a decrease in range of motion.
