Queenie is a 3yo OTTB mare ready to be restarted your way! She had been breezed at the track but never raced. She loves people, is very curious and has a really good brain.
Queenie is sound and still has so much growing to do – right now she is working on groundwork and is very smart and willing to learn! She does have kissing spine (incidental finding), but it does not seem to affect her at this time, and her back palpates comfortably.
She crossties, stands to be brushed and bathed, and is good for the farrier and vet. She loves having a turnout buddy, and gets along with mares and geldings. She is UTD on everything and is currently barefoot – although may benefit from shoes, as she tends to get foot sore on harder surfaces.
Queenie will need someone experienced with young OTTBs to help bring her along. We feel as though she could go in any direction with additional training.
