Magnolia was pulled from an auction and delivered to her adopter extremely sick with a case of active strangles. When her new mom called the original Rescue that pulled her from auction, they refused to help or offer to take her back.
As her adopter worked towards clearing the initial strangles infection, Magnolia continued to be in respiratory distress as well as being diagnosed with ringworm. After spending thousands in medical bills the adopter could no longer afford the continued treatments that Magnolia would require to get healthy.
NEER North stepped up when called – We welcomed Magnolia to our NEER North Family and took over her journey to good health knowing that she had a long road ahead.
Magnolia is now available for adoption – Magnolia’s ideal home would continue her training and understand that while she is not currently suitable for a children’s pony she could be in the future with the proper education.
