Lucy is a lovely 20 yr old donkey that originally was rescued from an auction in New Jersey a number of years ago. Her previous owner believes that her first few years of her life were not good. She was extremely timid in the beginning but has come so far. She will sometimes get nervous and scared so she does need patience and a consistent routine and reassurance that everything will be ok. She is a sensitive soul. Lucy’s ideal home would be one that is quiet and patient because once you earn her trust she will be very loyal! She is so full of love. Lucy is UTD and is healthy. She is great for the vet and farrier but does best when her friend “Heidi” is by her side! Lucy and Heidi are a bonded pair so will need to stay together!
