Dazy came to us after sustaining emotional trauma and physical neglect. As you can imagine, Dazy takes some time to trust new people. She was stuck in fight or flight mode, and was very nervous about simple things such as fly spray and baths when she arrived. Dazy spent time this year fostered by our trainer, and thrived. She does really well with regular, consistent training and patience.
Once she trusts you she loves to be brushed, and will stand on cross ties and for baths. She was fostered by our Trainer over the winter and was going walk/trot under saddle – she has been good under saddle and seemed happiest out exploring the farm! She does well with positive reinforcement. We think she would do well as a trail horse for an experienced horse person to continue to bring along.
Dazy had a rough past, but will be a lovely partner for someone looking to take their time and build a relationship with her. She is barefoot and UTD on everything.
