Christopher is a gentle, affectionate 28 year old Clydesdale/Thoroughbred Cross looking for a retirement home. Due to his previous owners health issues, they could not take care of him any longer. He arrived at NEER very underweight and with serious hoof problems. He has gained lots of weight this winter and looks great. He has severe white line disease that needs to be managed. He will need a home that understands the condition and is willing to change his boot regularly. He likes his food soaked.
He and his owner were well known through the hunt circuit with Myopia Hunt. He has a huge heart and has the nicest personality. He is looking for a soft landing to live out his golden years. We believe he has many years left to give love. He is good with both mares and geldings and would be a great pasture friend.
