Sadie is a 3.5 year-old black mini mule and Snickers is an 8 yr old brown mini mule who were surrendered to us not long ago. When they arrived, both were very timid around humans, but since being in our care they have settled in well and are really beginning to shine!
Sadie is a very confident little mule and is more social of the two. She will come right over to you in the paddock and likes to trot on up to volunteers to say hi. Sadie is still learning her manners, but has shown to be a quick learner. Snickers has not yet come out of his shell. Our trainer is patiently working on building trust which is a steady, but slow process. He will get there, it just takes time. He is a very sweet little guy.
They are known to be little escape artists! They love the company of horses and will gladly make their way to their paddock neighbors to investigate. We never know where we’re going to find them! They will thrive in a patient and mule-savvy home, (one with with good fencing!) where they can continue building confidence and become great little citizens.
Both are UTD on vet and farrier care. Please note they are bonded and need to stay together. They’re not suitable for a family with small kids.
