Donny is a 2017 OTTB. He has a glowing personality and is the in-your-pocket type. He was surrendered to us as a 2 year old with a bowed tendon. Donny resided in our medical paddock for quite some time, before his injury healed. Despite his rough start to life, he is now all grown up, sound, and quite the flashy mover! Our trainer has been slowly working on restarting him undersaddle. Donny is very smart and quick to learn, but can be a bit of an anxious guy. He does well with a patient trainer. Donny is middleman in turnout, and is currently in our gelding herd. He loves to play with his buddy, Oak! Donny is currently barefoot, and is good for the farrier and vet. He is a mild cribber. Donny is recommended as a companion, but with the right rehabilitation and training he could possibly be used for light riding. He is a favorite among volunteers, and is guaranteed to melt your heart on the daily.
