Iris (Dayzi) arrived with an eye injury that required surgical intervention. She is doing well and adapting quickly.
She is in your pocket and loves to learn! She is just getting started under saddle and has proven to be sensible and smart. We think she will be an easy start for someone, and could go in any direction. Iris (Dayzi) has excellent ground manners, lunges, longlines, bathes, loads and ties. She is good for the vet and farrier. She is currently barefoot and UTD on everything. She may benefit from front shoes in more work. Adoption fee will increase with training.
As of November 2024, Iris (Dayzi) is currently at Rising Starr Rescue (risingstarrhorserescue.org) for further training. All adoption inquiries continue to be through NEER North. Due to her young age, she will require an adopter with training and young horse experience. We require a no breeding contract upon adoption.
